Privacy Policy
This page explains how we handle information collected through Pamela’s birthday invite site and related host notifications.
What we collect
- RSVP details you submit (name, attendance choice, and any note you include).
- Birthday wishes you submit (name, message text, and optional short video if you share that way).
- Basic technical data needed to run the site (for example, standard request logs from our hosting provider).
How we use it
- To plan the dinner (headcount and guest list).
- To share wishes with Pamela.
- To notify the event host when a form is submitted.
SMS notifications
If you check the SMS consent box and provide your mobile number on the RSVP or wish form, we send you transactional SMS (submission confirmation / related event updates) at that number. You can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Message frequency varies with activity on this invite; message and data rates may apply.
We may also send a short operational SMS to the designated event host when a form is submitted so they can coordinate the dinner. SMS is delivered via Twilio.
Email notifications
Archive / fallback email copies of submissions may be sent to [email protected] (and any other addresses we configure for this event) using Resend or a similar email provider.
Sharing
We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers who help operate this invite (for example Cloudflare for hosting, Twilio for SMS, and Resend for email), and with Pamela / Samuel as needed for the event.
Retention
We keep submission details for the event and a reasonable period afterward (including any keepsake / birthday-book use you were told about on the site), then delete or archive them when no longer needed.
Your choices
If you submitted something and want it corrected or removed, email [email protected]. Host SMS opt-out: reply STOP to the notification number.
Children
This site is intended for invited adults planning a private dinner. It is not directed at children under 13.
